Water Carnival in Central Cuba |

Havana.- The town of Caibarién, in the central province of Sancti Spiritus, will host in the summer a new edition of the walks of boats converted into floats.
The so-called aquatic carnival attracts foreign and local visitors, as it marks the end of the summer season in August, as well as bringing color to the recreation.
The program includes regattas of boats and exhibitions of the Provincial Academy of Sails, as well as the parade of water carriages.
During the competition of boats, are reflected histories that show influences of the Parrandas, festivities in that locality and in other near, Cultural Patrimony of the Nation.
Each year the artisans exceed the expectations of the public, with beautifully decorated ships, like the nine that competed in 2016 and those who will do it this time.
