Havana.- The event Habana Clásica this month brings together outstanding artists from the music of a dozen countries, as part of an initiative that includes shows in historical spaces.
The cultural proposal takes in the participation of 13 soloists from 10 countries and two chamber orchestras in six concerts.
The guest list features the violinists Alexander Gilman and David Nebel, from Germany; The Russian Anastasia Shugaeva; The Spanish Raquel Castro.
In addition, the Chamber Orchestra of Havana and the Cuban ensemble Música Eterna will perform, together with local directors Guido López-Gavilán and Daiana García.
For the occasion, historical spaces such as the Martí Theater, the Minor Basilica of the Convent of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Aula Magna of the San Gerónimo College and the Oratory of San Felipe Neri were chosen.
