Public Spaces Recovered in the Cuban Capital
Monday, April 24, 2017

Havana.- The Cuban capital runs a program that contemplates the recovery of public spaces, with the consequent benefit to the population.

According to experts, the project includes the repair of about 40 parks each month, an initiative that has already reached 300 such facilities in seven municipalities.

Each park requires 30 to 40 seats, as well as 20 lanterns and baskets, which means that 4,000 thousand benches and 3,000 thousand lamps are already guaranteed.

In Havana, there are 936 parks that are characterized by the lushness of their trees, and many have equipment for the enjoyment of the little ones.

Coupled with this, the conditions of commercial, sports, cultural and gastronomic facilities are improved.
