Cuban Athletes in Special Olympics

Havana.- Cuba will intervene with six athletes in the III edition of the Latin American Games of Special Olympics, based in scenes of Panama.

The Caribbean island´s representation will participate with four competitors in the discipline of athletics, one in swimming and similar amount in table tennis.

Cubans are among the delegations from 21 countries that will take part in the contest, scheduled from 21 to 28 of the current month.

The roster has Tomás Collazo, Yaimet Licea, Yariel García and Lery Martínez in athletics, Susana Ibáñez (table tennis) and Lizandra Utria (swimming).

Cuba will also participate in the previous congress where the experiences in unified sport and the role of social networks in their diffusion will be discussed.
