Cuban Charcoal Exported to Europe |

Havana.- The province of Ciego de Avila has exported 210,000 tons of charcoal to European customers over the past decade.
These sales respond to efforts to improve the country's financial capacity and to support the implementation of plans in the industrial and agricultural fields.
Charcoal is made of sicklebush, while the commercialization corresponds to Cítricos Caribe S.A. in countries such as Italy, Greece, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain and the United Kingdom.
The producers select the best plantations of this species, which is reflected in an exportable product that meets all its quality indicators and contributes foreign exchange.
It is worth mentioning that in Cuba, a machine was developed to improve and classify this type of fuel, thus humanizing the work, increasing efficiency and discarding impurities.
