British Group Steps into the Cuban Market
Monday, April 24, 2017

Havana.- The Saint Giles group, based in London (United Kingdom), will take over the management of the Deauville Hotel, located in front of the Malecon (seafront).

The British company has entered into an association agreement with the Cuban state-owned company Gran Caribe to rehabilitate the center, which will operate under the name Deauville-A Saint Giles Signature Hotel.

The establishment is scheduled to open in 2019, with additional features such as a gym and a bar, among other leisure facilities.

Saint Giles Hotels is a subsidiary of CHM Hotels and currently manages nine properties in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America, including Saint Giles London with 724 rooms in Bloomsbury.

By 2020, the group's strategy is to manage two dozen hotel establishments around the world.
