Kingston .- The commercial airlines of Latin America and the Caribbean mobilized in February 12 million passengers, with a year-on-year increase of 8.1 percent.
According to the Latin American and Caribbean Association of Air Transport (ALTA), the companies of the sector operated with an occupancy rate of 81.2 percent.
In total, the number of passengers transported by the airlines of the region in the analyzed period rose to 18.7 million by including domestic traffic in Brazil.
ALTA is a non-profit organization, which groups airlines representing more than 90 percent of the region's commercial air traffic.
Aerolineas Argentinas, Aeromexico Connect, Avianca, Avianca Brasil, Copa Airlines, Copa Airlines Colombia, Insel Air, LATAM Airlines Group, Sky Airline and Volaris.
