Havana.- The province of Holguín, in the eastern part of the island, hosts the XXXVII edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITCuba-2017 in May.
The event, aimed at promoting the main attractions of leisure in the archipelago, has this time Germany as a guest country.
Precisely, that European nation is among the main emitting markets, with 242 thousand travelers to the island and an increase of 38 percent in the last year.
Likewise, the election of Holguín responds to the objective of promoting the modality of tourist circuits, and to show the Cuba as a destination characterized by diversity.
In the framework of the event will be the official launch of the product Gibara, where are available colonial hotels Ordoño, Arsenita and Plaza Colón.
