French Donation to National Library of Cuba |

Havana.- The National Library of Cuba received a donation by its counterpart institution in France, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation.
The French institution donated equipment to safeguard the audio and audiovisual collections in the library's archive.
Collaboration between the two institutions strengthened last year after the singing of an agreement to exchange specialized knowledge.
The new technology will allow reading audio and audiovisual documents, in addition to rescuing materials that were not used before.
The musical patrimony of the National Library includes a large collection of operas, one of the most complete in Cuba due to the number of pieces and the artists who made the recordings.
