Experts Assess Impact of Cuban Medicine PPG

Havana.- The impact of the Cuban medicine Policosanol, known as PPG, on health was assessed by local experts.

Havana hosted a forum on the 25th anniversary of the administration of that medicine, developed at the National Scientific Research Institute (CNIC).

PPG is used to treat ischemic ictus and cardiovascular diseases. It reduces the levels of cholesterol in level and improves the quality of life of senior citizens.

Policosanol is a product that does not interferes with other medications and does not cause adverse reactions, so it is an excellent choice for senior citizens.

In addition, it contributes to prevent cardiovascular an cerebral-vascular diseases, in addition to improve the health of patients who take PPG for a long period.
