Popular Cuban Septet Tours the United States |

Havana.- The Ignacio Piñeiro National Septet, a prominent Cuban musical group, has been highly acclaimed during a tour of the United States.
Nominated for the 2002 Grammy Awards and the 2013 Latin Grammy Awards, the septet is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.
In the United States, the group has already performed at the 47th Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans, and will give concerts Miami, Washington D.C., Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix and Boston.
In October, the group will perform in Barranquilla, Cartagena and Medellín, in Colombia, and in the summer, they will tour France, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
The Ignacio Piñeiro National Septet has taken Cuban music to more than 40 countries and has performed in the Carnegie Hall, the Monterrey Festival and the International Film Festivals in Dubai and Montreal.
