Havana.- Cuba's electronic industry is gaining ground and is growing to support the country's strategic programs.
In that regard, about 60,000 solar panels are being made, in addition to 280,000 induction cookers.
Other pieces of equipment are LED lighting of different formats and more than 100,000 solar water heaters.
The sector is also making informatics equipment, including 52,000 desk computers, 12,000 laptops and 38,000 tablets.
In addition, it is working on the automation of crop houses, and the construction and assembly of desalinization plants, and fire and lightning protection systems.
