Mexico's Tourism Reports Increase in Vacationers and Revenues |

Mexico.- The number of international tourists in Mexico totaled 9.3 million in the first trimester of 2017, when revenues rose to nearly five billion dollars.
According to sources from the sector, tourist arrivals from January to March grew 6 percent.
That trend resulted from the public policies implemented by the government in coordination with local authorities and entrepreneurs who operate in the leisure industry.
In addition, alternatives like museums, culture, handicrafts and gastronomy are being promoted to exploit the country's destinations to their maximum potential.
Mexico also has a major infrastructure for cruise tourism, including several ports dedicated to that recreational option.
