Expedia to Operate on Cuban Market
Monday, May 29, 2017

Havana.- The online travel agency Expedia will start operating on the Cuban market, thus favoring the commercialization of the country's hotels on the World Wide Web.

The company offers a wide range of online services, including reservations of hotels, plane tickets, cars, cruises, vacation packages and amusement parks.

In addition, the firm will have a marketing team in Cuba that will share the most modern trends to boost profitability.

Expedia, based on the United States and present in 31 countries, is the world's largest online travel agency. In 2016, the company invested about one billion dollars in technological innovations.

Meanwhile, Cuba received more than four million foreign tourists last year and is expected to welcome 4.2 million vacationers in 2017.
