New Coin in Cuba's Economy |

Havana.- Cuba's financial system will incorporate a new coin with a face value of five Cuban pesos into circulation.
The new coin will start circulating gradually nationwide as of July.
According to experts, the coin is made of two metals, and it is 24.70 millimeters in diameter with a silver ring, a gold center and a stretch-mark edge at intervals.
The design of the coin consists of a golden center with the relief image of Antonio Maceo and the denomination in number (5) with the word PESOS.
The Central Bank of Cuba recalled that the new coin would circulate along with the five-peso bill that is currently in circulation.
