Cuban Dairy Industry Increases Production Capacity |

Havana.- Cuba's dairy industry is executing a broad program of investments to increase the country's production capacity.
In that regard, that process benefits directly the population, the state sector and tourism in eastern Santiago de Cuba province.
According to experts, four new machines will be assembled to pack soy and natural yogurt in order to increase production to 50 tons a day.
In addition, an ice cream factory equipped with state-of-the-art technology will be built at El Caney Dairy Complex and will produce 20,000 gallons of that product in an eight-hour shift.
That way, the equipment in that industry will be relocated in municipalities to build small factories and replace the machinery installed there, which have been under exploitation for several years.
