Cruise Tourism Grows in Panama |

Panama.- Cruise tourism is gaining ground in Panama, where local ports received 205,516 passengers from January to April 2017.
During that period, the Home Port, operated by the shipping company Pullmantur Cruceros with the ships Zenith and Monarch, received 102,301 travelers.
In addition, the port of Colon 2000 received 90,200 passengers, Amador welcomed 11,703 tourists and Cristóbal was visited by 1,312 vacationers, all of whom arrived in 125 cruise ships.
Tourists general visit emblematic places like the new locks of Agua Clara, Portobelo, Fuerte San Lorenzo, Zona Libre de Colón and Gatún.
The shipping companies Carnival, Princess, Norwegian, Celebrity Cruises, Oceanía, Holland America, WindStar, Regent Seven Seas and Disney Cruises go through the Panama Canal in their routes.
