Situation in Mother's Homes in Cuba Evaluated |

Havana.- Members of the Cuban Parliament analyzed the situation in the mother's homes in the country, which are considered a key element in the healthcare strategy for the benefit of children.
Officials with the Mother-Child Program pointed out that there are 131 such medical facilities throughout the country.
Those centers guarantee specialized medical care to pregnant women, including medical follow-up, an appropriate diet and other matters of major importance.
As part of efforts to improve the care of pregnant women, several alternatives are being weighed, including those related to the needs for recreation.
So far this year, actions have been taken to provide maintenance to 100 mother's homes, and 31 others will be repaired in 2018.
