Havana.- Western Cuba will have a new golf complex that combines tourism in its different modalities with the golf practice.
The Carbonera Club, Hotel and Golf will cost 350 million dollars of Cuban capital and from the British firm Esencia Hotels and Resorts.
The complex will be located by the sea, near Varadero, Cuba's major coastal resort, and will consist of a luxury golf course that will provide a wide range of services, including conference halls, shows, restaurants, shops, sports and a spa.
It will also have a 150-room hotel, maritime center with a pier, an 18-hole golf course and 800 luxury apartments of 120 square meters as an average.
