Havana.- The Cuban group Cubanacán, founded three years ago, runs 90 hotels in the country and handles 40 percent of foreign visitors.
The company, created in 1987, has partnered with world-renowned chains like Meliá Internacional Hotels, Blau, Iberostar, Breezes and Blue Diamond.
Cubanacán owns the hotels of the Brisas brand, which are located in some of Cuba's most emblematic beaches and specializes in families.
It is also the proprietor of the Horizontes hotels, some of which are located in breathtakingly beautiful places like Cienaga de Zapata (Zapata Swamp) and the Viñales Valley.
In addition, Cubanacán has the chain Hoteles E (Encanto), which operate in buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries, thus providing a charming image of excellence and elegance.
