National Ballet of Cuba Completes International Tour

Havana.- The National Ballet of Cuba, a world renowned company, completed a broad international tour that included Spain, Italy and France.

The program consisted of great classic choreographies in several Spanish regions like Madrid, Andalusia, Barcelona and the Basque Country.

In Italy, the company performed in Turin and Ravenna, while in France, they were highly acclaimed in the Pleyel Hall in Paris.

In that context, the National Ballet of Cuba presented the classic choreographies The Nutcracker, Giselle and Don Quixote, in addition to the show The Magic of Dance, which consists of major choreographies from the 19th century.

The Cuban dancers Joel Carreño and Yolanda Correa, who are dancing with the Ballet of Norway, Osiel Gouneo, first dancer with the Ballet of Munich, Germany, and Luis Valle, who is with the company Acosta Danza, joined the National Ballet of Cuba during its European tour.
