New Rum Formula in Western Cuba |

Havana.- Markets in Cuba's westernmost province, Pinar del Rio, will sell a new rum under the brand Ron Refino Occidental Exclusivo.
The new brand is made at the Guayabita del Pinar factory for local consumers and is being sold as a test in two commercial establishments.
So far, 25 boxes have been produced to submit the product to a market study.
Containing a guayabita (little guava) in the bottle to provide the factory's distinctive seal, the new brand of rum meets standards regarding smell, taste and color.
Ron Refino Occidental Exclusivo is one of 30 products that will be commercialized officially in the province.
