57th Cuban National Baseball Series Opens |

Havana.- The 57th edition of the National Baseball Series in Cuba opened with 16 teams who will compete for the title.
Each province will have the opportunity to use the event to promote the players from the junior and under-23 categories.
In addition, reinforcements will be chosen for the second phase of the series, and the champion may participate in the Caribbean Series representing the league and the country.
The favorite teams to win the National Baseball Series are Granma, Ciego de Avila, Industriales and Pinar del Río, taking into consideration their performances in previous national tournaments.
Last year, the collective average at bat was 293, pitchers allowed nearly four earned runs per game and the defense had a discrete performance of 975.
