Medical Equipment for Cuba's Healthcare System |

Havana.- Cuba's public health system has installed more than 24,000 pieces of medical equipment in its institutions throughout the country over the past four years.
As a result of that technology, which is worth more than 200 million dollars, a simulation center for minimal-access surgery was inaugurated, and 26 pieces of equipment were installed to diagnose and treat cancer.
Moreover, imagining equipment was acquired to make computerized axial tomographies in all Cuban provinces.
This strategy is part of people's universal and free access to the national healthcare system and to children's vaccination promoted by the Cuban government.
