More Air Connections between Cuba and Spain
Monday, August 7, 2017

Havana.- Wamos Air will start operations between Madrid (Spain) and Havana (Cuba) in September to meet the increasing demand from tourists.

After the operations start, Havana will be the Latin American leader in terms of air connections between the two countries, totaling 19.

So far, flights have been operated by Air Europa, Iberia, Evelop and PlusUltra, which will be joined by Wamos Air.

Iberia did not fly to Cuba for three years, until operations between Madrid and Havana were resumed in June 2015 with five weekly flights that were later increased to six.

Spain, France, Italy and Germany are traditional European markets that have reported positive results in terms of tourist arrivals in Cuba.
