Marriott Leads World's Hotel Groups |

London.- The hotel chain Marriott International ranks first in the world with more than one million rooms.
The second place in the world ranking is held by Hilton Worldwide with 796,440 rooms and 4,875 hotels, followed by the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) with 767,135 rooms and 5,174 hotels.
The fourth and fifth places were occupied by Wyndham Hotel Group (697,607 rooms and 8,035 hotels) and Shanghai Jin Jiang International (602,350 rooms and 5, 977 establishments), respectively.
For its part, Meliá Hotels International ranks 16th with 96,355 rooms and 376 hotels.
Regarding hotel consortiums, Hotusa Hotels is the leader with 2,587 associated hotels and 232,904 rooms.
