Cuban Company Guarantees Production of Industrial Gases |

Havana.- The Camagüey-based Empresa de Gases Industriales, in eastern Cuba, guarantees production of those inputs for commercial use nationwide.
According to official statistics, the plant supplied more than 500,000 cubic meters of oxygen for industrial and medicinal uses in the first semester of 2017.
Oxygen guarantees the vitality of industrial processes that involve welding and metal cutting, as well as the functioning of the healthcare system.
The factory also produces liquid and gaseous nitrogen. The former is used to preserve genetic materials and the latter is a refrigerant.
Other productions include acetylene and argon. The latter is widely used to fill bulbs and fluorescent tubes, as well as in arch welding.
