More Tourists Visit Ecuador |

Quito.- Ecuador's tourist destinations received 914,477 foreign vacationers in the first seven months of this year.
According to authorities from the sector, that result accounts for an increase of 9.3 percent in contrast to the same period in 2016.
Of the total number of vacationers, 164,376 tourists visited the country in July, representing an interannual increase of 14.3 percent.
Furthermore, the country reported a rise in revenues in hard currency during the first trimester of 399.5 million dollars, 1.6 percent more than in the first three months of last year.
The official tourist strategy envisages the promotion of the country's natural beauties, gastronomy, culture and traditions.
