Royal Caribbean Reports Increased Profits |

New York.- The cruise company Royal Caribbean reported profits of 584 million dollars in the first semester of 2017.
According to company sources, that result accounts for a solid increase of 77.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
The company's turnover totaled 4.203 billion dollars, 4.5 percent more than the 4,023 billion dollars reported in the first semester of 2016.
Revenues from ticket sales grew 3.6 percent, to 2.999 billion dollars during the same period.
In addition, expenditures on board reached 1.204 billion dollars, representing an increase of 6.7 percent, in contrast to 1.128 billion dollars during the same period last year.
