Cuba Singer Songwriter to Perform in Dominican Republic |

Havana.- The Cuban singer songwriter Liuba Maria Hevia, a member of the New Song Movement, will perform in the Dominican Republic.
On this occasion, she has invited Carlos Varela and Pepe Hevia, as well as the Dominican musicians Pavel Núñez, Víctor Víctor and José Antonio Rodríguez.
Her latest CD is Vidas Paralelas (Parallel Lives), which is a compilation of 68 songs composed by her and other authors and performed in duets with excellent Cuban and foreign musicians
Hevia has an artistic career of more than three decades and has released at least 12 albums for adults and children. She has won major awards and acknowledgements.
In 2012, the Cuban singer songwriter was appointed Goodwill Ambassador by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), due to her work for children.
