Cuba to Increase Production of Animal Feed |

Havana.- Cuban authorities are working to increase production of animal feed in order to guarantee the development of cattle raising.
In that regard, the group AZCUBA plans to build three plants to produce honey, urea and bagasse to improve the feed for cattle.
The plants will join 46 similar units, 45 of which were operational during last year's sugarcane harvest.
AZCUBA also plants to have 55 animal feed producing plants in operation over the next two or three years to supply 200,000 tons a year.
The plants also produce multi-nutrient blocks, consisting of concentrated nitrogen, phosphorus, proteins and amino acids, for cattle.
