Havana.- Cuban players made the All-Stars Team of the Canadian-American Baseball League (Can-Am).
Lázaro Blanco, Yurisbel Gracial and Yordan Manduley, who play with the
Capitals of Québec, excelled due to their results during the qualifying phase.
Blanco was the best pitcher with 11 wins and four defeats, an earn run average (ERA) of 2.98 per nine-inning game, 118 strikeouts and 39 bases on balls.
For his part, the third baseman Gracial has an average at bat of .320, including 25 two-base hits, two three-base hits, 11 homeruns and a total of 61 runs batter in (RBI)
Meanwhile, Manduley was the best short-stop defender with an offensive average of 312, 14 two-base hits, one three-base hit, one homerun and 36 runs batter in.
