Cuban Athlete Excels at Heptathlon Event |

Havana.- The Cuban heptathlete Yorgelis Rodriguez gave an outstanding performance at the heptathlon tournament held in Decastar, France, where she finished third.
At the event, the last stage of the Multisport Challenge, the Cuban representative scored 6,126 points.
Rodriguez was only preceded by Anouk Vetter (6,363 points), from the Netherlands, who won the gold medal, and Hungary's Xenia Kriszán (6,282 points), who was the silver medalist.
The Cuban heptathlete, who won the junior world championships in Barcelona in 2012, concluded a successful season.
At the world championships in London, she scored 6,594 points, her best personal record and a national record, only 42 points behind the bronze medalist.
