FIFA Evaluates Cuban Football

Havana.- This month, Cuba is receiving a delegation from the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), which will evaluate the development of that sport in the Caribbean island.

The mission will work on the area of the Development Project of that international organization.

Joyce Cook, from the United Kingdom and the official chief of the Member Associations, is heading the delegation, which also includes four officials who will meet with Cuban counterparts.

According to the program, the FIFA will learn about the plans of Cuba's football and will watch audiovisual materials of the sports schools and academies of that sport on the island.

They will also visit La Polar football field in Havana, which has a synthetic court donated by that international sports organization.
