Hotel Nacional de Cuba Wins World Travel Award |

Havana.- The Hotel Nacional de Cuba, which was designated a National Monument, was chosen the best hotel in the country by the 2017 edition of the World Travel Award.
The acknowledgement is granted on the basis of a voting and a campaign in which experts linked to the tourist sector participate.
It should be said that the World Travel Award is the main prizing program in the international travel industry.
In different categories, Cuba's award winners were Gran Hotel Kempinski Manzana, Hotel Florida, Iberostar Parque Central, Meliá Cayo Coco and Meliá Cohíba.
The five-star Hotel Nacional de Cuba was inaugurated on December 30, 1930, and has received world-renowned personages like Johnny Weismuller, Buster Keaton, Errol Flyn and Frank Sinatra.
