World Air Traffic of Passengers to Increase in 2017 |

Geneva.- Experts predicted that in 2017, commercial aviation will grow 6.5 percent in terms of world passenger traffic.
According to estimates from the International Airport Association (ACI), eight billion passengers will be carried during the year.
In terms of air cargo, the ACI estimated an average growth of 7.4 percent, accounting for 16.9 million additional tons in a two-year period.
In that regard, the association warned about the existence of factors that may attempt against the steady growth in that activity, including the threats to safety, geopolitical aspects and those related to the sector's infrastructure.
