The plant, which will start delivering two planes a month as of 2019, is near the center where single-aisle aircraft of the models A319 and A320 are assembled in Tianjin.

The new factory will put the finishing touches on A330 planes sent from Toulouse, where they are made. Works will focus on the cockpit, painting and tests before delivery.

Other works include the installation of video equipment, air conditioning, wall and ceiling panels, curtains, safety materials, labels and kitchens.
