Air Connection in Camagüey Reestablished
Monday, September 25, 2017

Havana.- Three U.S. airlines have resumed their direct flights to the international airport in the eastern Cuban province of Camagüey, after the damaged caused by Hurricane Irma was repaired.

Therefore, JetBlue, American Airlines and Ister Airways resumed their operations normally weeks before the beginning of the peak tourist season.

JetBlue has a capacity of nearly 600 passengers and plans to facilitate access to the Cuban territory through that airport.

Among the main destinations to where travelers go from the Camagüey airport is the United States, although destinations like Canada and Haiti are commercialized by Cubana de Aviación.

Cuba is one of the most popular destinations for airlines interested in opening commercial services to improve their positioning and competitiveness.
