Swedish Culture in Havana

Havana.- The Cuban capital hosted a broad program of events this month as part of the Festival of Swedish Culture.

The opening ceremony took place at the cultural institution Fábrica de Arte Cubano (Factory of Cuban Art) with a show with participation of the group El Ensemble Interactivo de La Habana.

The program consists of exhibitions, fashion shows, concerts and events on art, design and cuisine.

In addition, the pianist Staffan Scheja, deputy director of the Royal Academy of Music and vice-president of the Royal Higher School of Music of Sweden, gave a concert.

The Swedish delegation that participated in the cultural festival included rectors and professors of art, fashion, music and film academies, as well as designers and architects.
