Cuban Judokas to Seek Qualification for Regional Event |

Havana.- Cuba's best judokas will compete in a tournament in the Dominican Republic, where they will seek to qualify for the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Cuban experts pointed out that the objective is to qualify in all divisions.
The women's team includes Kaliema Antomarchi (78 kg), Melissa Hurtado (48 kg), Analidis Dorvigni (57 kg), Maylín del Toro (63 kg), Eliani Aguilar (+78 kg), Yarisley Ponciano (44 kg), Yurisleidis Hernández (52 kg) and Olga Masferrer (70 kg).
The men's team will be made up of Alex García (+100 kg), Osniel Solís (66 kg), Magdiel Estrada (73 kg), Jorge Martínez (81 kg), Iván Silva (90 kg), Andy Granda (100 kg), Harold Torres (55 kg) and Roberto Almenares (60 kg).
The organizers of the qualifying event expect the participation of competitors from 16 countries.
