New Trails for Nature Tourism in Cuba
Monday, October 9, 2017

Havana.- New trails for nature tourism have been designed in Cuba, including the so-called Coffee, Cocoa and Colón (Columbus) routes.

As an example, the Cocoa Route starts at the Duaba farm, which is complemented by a nearby camping site where tourists can stay and recreate.

At the recent international meeting on nature tourism TURNAT-2017, some 150 delegates from 12 countries learned about the tourist options that combine nature, culture and history.

Cuba also presented its programs, excursions, trails, routes and circuits, which are interconnected thanks to the potentialities of the environment, protected areas and biosphere reserves.

Representatives of travel agencies and tour operators, as well as environmentalists, learned about the management and preservation of Cuba's major natural sites.
