Havana.- Varadero beach, in the western Cuban province of Matanzas, will host several international golf competitions.
Precisely, the Varadero Golf Club will organize four tournaments in October, including the 16th meeting of the Hispanic world and the 9th Meliá Cuba Tournament.
In addition, the group Palmares will hold the 9th edition of Cuba Golf, and the program of events will conclude with the Los Cactus Tournament.
The venue of those competitions will be an 18-hole golf course of more than 6,000 meters in San Bernardino, the highest point in Varadero.
Cuba is working with foreign companies to increase the country's golf facilities.
