Audiovisual Materials on Medicine in Cuba

Havana.- A score of works will be presented in the competitive segment of the 5th International Exhibition of Audiovisuals on Medical Sciences.

According to organizers, participants will compete in the following categories: documentary, multimedia, spot, TV program, film sequence, non-filmed script, radio spot and photography.

The works in competition include "Cuidemos la Piel" (Let's Take Care of the Skin) and "Cuidemos el Cerebro" (Let's Take Care of the Brain), both by Isis Betancourt, in the category of TV program, as well as the documentaries "Prematuros" (Premature), by Manuel R. López Fuentes, and "Misión Médica por una Salud Animal y Humana. Etiopía" (Medical Mission for Animal and Human Health. Ethiopia), by Clara Luz Duarte Martínez.

The event aims to contributing to share knowledge and foster cooperation among institutions, health, information and communication professionals, creators, producers and spectators.
