Eurowings Strengthens Position in Cuban Market |

Havana.- The German commercial airline Eurowings has consolidated its position in the Cuban market, where it added new destinations for its flights.
In that regard, the company included Varadero, Cuba's major coastal resort, among the destinations where the airline will flight during the 2017-2018 winter season.
Therefore, every Friday, an Airbus A330 plane will depart bound for Matanzas from the German city of Düsseldorf.
Eurowings' expansion plan also includes popular destinations in the Caribbean like Cancun (Mexico), and Punta Cana and Punta Plata (Dominican Republic).
Eurowings, which is a branch of the aeronautical group Lufthansa, expects that the facilities for tourism in Varadero will contribute to increasing tourist arrivals.
