Cuba Receives Four Million Foreign Tourists
Monday, November 13, 2017

Havana.- Cuba had received four million holidaymakers until November 6.

According to sources from the tourism sector, that number of foreign visitors was achieved 54 days earlier compared to last year.

If the increasing trend continues, the Cuban Ministry of Tourism has predicted that 4.7 million foreign vacationers might visit the country in 2017.

It should be said that several hotels underwent comprehensive rehabilitation works to recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Irma.

The main damage was reported in hotels on Cayo Santa María, Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo, the two latter in Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens).
