Foreign Exhibitors at Cuba's Handicrafts Fair

Havana.- The 21st edition of the International Handicrafts Fair (FIART-2017), to be held in this capital, will bring together creators from 17 countries and will be dedicated to Santiago de Cuba.

According to officials from the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets (FCBC), participants will come from Argentina, Colombia, Spain, India, Italy, Mexico and Nigeria.

The PABEXPO exhibition hall will have 300 stands, 67 of which will be occupied by foreign exhibitors, 22 provincial institutions and 239 individual artisans.

Among the companies participating in the event are Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales (EGREM), Promociones Artísticas Artex and Génesis, the National Book Distributor and the Caguayo Foundation.

FIART-2017 is part of the agenda in the Ibero-American Year of Handicrafts and the action plan of the 15th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government.
