Havana.- The eastern city of Santiago de Cuba will host the 3rd edition of the Ruperto Jay Matamoros Regional Naif Art Exhibition.
The event, to be held in several cities of the world, will promote knowledge and the development of that plastic expression in Cuba.
Creators from the host city and Granma, Holguin and Sancti Spiritus provinces have confirmed participation in the meeting, whose program will consist of lectures and tours of sites of historic and cultural interest in the towns of Mella, San Luis and La Maya, among other actions.
In addition, a jury made up of renowned Cuban personalities in the field of plastic arts will grant the awards and several collateral acknowledgements, one of which will be granted by a gallery in New York, the United States.
