Italian Culture in Cuba

Havana.- Cuba hosted the Italian Culture Week, as part of actions to boost relations between the two countries.

The program consisted of the photo exhibition Pogolotti Neighborhood, by the Italian photographer Alfredo Cannatello, and a concert by the pianist Stefano Bellani.

Other events were exhibitions by artists and photographers, donations of artworks, seminars, lectures and other presentations.

Italian films were represented by a varied exhibition at the Infanta Multicinema, where the films The Day of Violence, The Bible and The Case is Closed, Forget It, among others, were screened.

The Italian Culture Week was sponsored by the Embassy of that country, the Minister of Culture of Cuba and the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana.
