More Holidaymakers Visit Spanish Destinations |

Madrid.- Tourist destinations in Spain received 73,4 million foreign holidaymakers from January to October 2017, accounting for an increase of 9.2 percent in contrast to the same period last year.
Sources from the sector pointed out that in October alone, Spain received 7.3 million tourists, 1.8 percent more than in the same month in 2016.
The United Kingdom remains Spain's major tourist-sending market with 17.1 million holidaymakers, accounting for a 7.1-percent increase.
Other major markets are Germany with 10.8 million vacationers and a 5.9-percent rise, and France with 10.2 million travelers and an increase of 0.4 percent.
Among the autonomous communities, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and the Canary archipelago were the most visited destinations in Spain, with 42.4 million holidaymakers altogether.
