Havana.- The John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, the United States, will host a festival dedicated to Cuban art in May 2018.
The Arts from Cuba festival will bring together artists who live in the Caribbean island and abroad and who will show U.S. audiences their artwork.
The program will consist of dance, theater, cinema, visual arts, design, fashion and gastronomy.
In the field of music, Cuba will be represented by the singer Omara Portuondo, the pianists Rolando Luna and Aldo López Gavilán, Los Van Van orchestra, Dafnis Prieto and Afro-Cuban Experience.
The forum will also exhibit the work by the artists Manuel Mendive, Roberto Fabelo and Roberto Diago, as well as emblematic Cuban films.
